2015 Student Science & Education Symposium winners

From July 28 – 30th, 2015, the NOAA Office of Education held its annual Student Science and Education Symposium. The Symposium was attended by 123 Hollings and Educational Partnership Program with Minority Serving Institutions (MSI) undergraduate scholars. The scholars presented the results of their summer internships with NOAA labs and offices throughout the United States.

The three day event was filled with impressive oral and poster presentation sessions, information sharing and networking opportunities. The symposium culminated in a closing ceremony with inspiring remarks delivered by Dr. Richard Spinrad, the NOAA Chief Scientist. Congratulations to all the students who participated in the Science and Education Symposium, and all of the presentation award winners!
