The Status of Stocks report provides an annual update on the status of U.S. marine fisheries. Working waterfronts such as this one in Sitka, Alaska are home to commercial fishing vessels.

NOAA’s annual report on the status of U.S. marine fisheries, to be released tomorrow, highlights the nation’s continued progress in the rebuilding of domestic fish stocks and the number of stocks listed as overfished and subject to overfishing.
