NOAA West Leadership Program

NOAA West is hosting its first cohort of participants for the NOAA West Leadership Program. The pilot run of the program offers a focus on NOAA culture, regional cross-LO networking and learning opportunities, and support for new and emerging leaders. NOAA West selected a cohort of 18 GS 11-14/Band III and IV participants from an applicant pool of ~85 employees from Line and Staff Offices in the NOAA West geographic area. Over 20 senior leaders from all LOs in the region volunteered to teach leadership courses. The 12-month program began in May 2021 and will conclude in May 2022. A second run of the program will begin in October 2022.
