NOAALink

Linking Information technology to the NOAA mission.

NOAALink is an innovative and strategic IT infrastructure planning and acquisition process offering NOAA's IT organizations a broad range of cost-effective, enterprise-wide IT solutions, while improving IT service delivery and meeting NOAA's technology, contracting, and financial goals.

Processing IT requirements for every Line and Staff Office across the organization gives us valuable insight, and provides an ideal opportunity to align IT investments. The NOAALink team closely assesses each and every requirement and makes thoughtful recommendations that best serve our customers’ IT needs. Important items of consideration include time constraints, infrastructure applicability, and the likelihood of enterprise consolidation.

Vision
The mission of NOAALink is to deliver superior IT acquisition capabilities and NOAA-wide IT solutions in alignment with NOAA IT strategies.
Mission
Enable the NOAA IT strategy through NOAA-wide IT acquisitions by teaming with customers to establish solutions that leverage purchasing power and standardize common IT services and commodities.

NOAALink Program Office (NPO)

NPO links customers to the IT solutions they need.  In addition to managing the NOAALink Program, NPO harnesses a suite of IT acquisition initiatives while providing an array of support services that advance the NOAA mission. NMITS is one of the many tools NPO has at its disposal.

NOAA Mission IT Services (NMITS)

The NOAALink Program Office (NPO) is proud to introduce NOAA Mission IT Services (NMITS), an exciting new addition to the tools at our disposal to help customers succeed. NMITS joins a family of acquisition vehicles tailor-made to deliver IT solutions and provides access to the best and most efficient IT offerings from a variety of small business firms.

The National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Mission Information Technology Services (NMITS) is a small business set-aside Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) contract vehicle with five base years and a five-year option period. This $2.1B vehicle utilizes General Services Administration’s (GSA) IT Schedule 70 and is administered by a joint effort from the NOAA Office of the CIO (OCIO) / NOAALink Program Office (NPO) and NOAA’s Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO) / Corporate Services Acquisition Division (CSAD).
