The Aleutian Trench compiled by Harold W. Murray of the Coast and Geodetic Survey and published in the Bulletin of the Geological Society of America, Vol. 56, p. 757-782, Plate I. Soundings for making these profiles wereacquired between 1925 and 1939 by following systematic tracklines from the U. S.West Coast to the Aleutians for hydrographic surveying operations.
