Profiles of the Aleutian Trench compiled by Harold W. Murray of the Coast andGeodetic Survey and published in the Bulletin of the Geological Society ofAmerica, Vol. 56, p. 771. Soundings for making these profiles were acquiredbetween 1925 and 1939 by following systematic tracklines from the U. S. WestCoast to the Aleutians for hydrographic surveying operations.
