Experts recap April and provide outlooks through August

On Thursday, climate and weather experts will discuss key findings from NOAA's U.S. and global climate analyses for April 2023, the latest El Niño/La Niña update, and the U.S. seasonal outlooks for temperature, precipitation and drought for June, July and August. A NOAA expert from the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Miami will also review the record-breaking rainfall that inundated parts of South Florida last month, bringing more than two feet of rain to Ft. Lauderdale.
