Ocean Exploration Collection

The ocean, our greatest resource yet to be fully explored, covers over 70% of the earth's surface. And yet, only a fraction of its secrets are known. With this in mind, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration launched a systematic, strategic effort to search and investigate the deepest reaches of our planet's oceans for the purpose of discovery. These remarkable images are the result of many of these exploring efforts. Join the NOAA Office of Ocean Exploration and Research (https://oceanexplorer.noaa.gov).
