National Undersea Research Program (NURP) Collection

The National Undersea Research Program (NURP) was the nation's only federal scientific program that specialized in providing access to undersea technology to help us better manage Earth's last frontier. NURP made undersea technologies available to the scientific community, supported creative partnerships, and conducted groundbreaking research towards the advancement of marine and Great Lakes science. In 2007, NURP merged with the Ocean Exploration and Research.
