2017 Science On a Sphere® Users Collaborative Network Workshop
The next Science On a Sphere® (SOS) Users Collaborative Network Workshop will be co-hosted by NOAA and the Detroit Zoological Society (DZS)offsite link at the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak, Michigan from April 25-27, 2017. The workshop will be based on presentations submitted from participants and will facilitate the use of spherical display systems for providing science educational messages. Participation in this workshop is limited to members of the NOAA Science On a Sphere® Users Collaborative Network and invited groups who are working with the Network. Invitations to participate in the workshop are sent to all members.
There is no registration fee thanks to the support of the National Marine Sanctuary Foundationoffsite link and the in-kind support provided by DZS. However, all who plan to attend the workshop will need to register in advance. Links to register, submit presentation proposals, request travel support, and book hotels will be available before the end of 2016. It is not required that all participants submit presentation proposals, although we do encourage submissions as the philosophy of the workshop is that it is based on the needs of the attendees.
