Student Enrichment and Experiential Learning Program

The Student Enrichment and Experiential Learning (SEEL) program brings high school students in Maryland’s Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset counties to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) for a seven-week summer internship, where students will conduct a research project in one of the key focus areas of the Living Marine Resources Cooperative Science Center.

Eligibility: High school students (grades 9-12) who are interested in marine science and who have daily transportation to and from the UMES campus in Princess Anne, MD.

Geographic focus: Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset counties, MD
