Project ATMOSPHERE

An intensive two-week workshop at the U.S. National Weather Service Training Center in Kansas City, Missouri on topics dealing with the sensing, analyzing, and forecasting of weather. The workshop is free to participants and includes lectures, hands-on laboratory exercises, and field trips.

Project ATMOSPHERE

Eligibility: K-12 master teachers and supervisors of science who teach or supervise the teaching of significant weather units.

Important dates: Applications are usually due in mid-March and the workshop is held in July.
