DataStreme: Earth's Climate System
A 13-week distance-learning course that investigates the mass and energy flows associated with the global climate system and the related issues using real-time data, text reading, activities, and online investigations. Course materials are free to selected participants and teachers in most states receive 3 graduate credits upon completion of the course.
Eligibility: The course is directed towards middle-school teachers, but is open to all K-12 teachers who live in an area served by a Local Implementation Team.
Important dates: Applications are continuously accepted and the course is offered twice a year in the spring and fall.
