Today Jim Overland gave the first of more than 70 side event presentations at the U.S. Center. He spoke about the impacts of global climate change on the Arctic- an area of the world in which we are seeing some of the most dramatic and extensive affects of climate change to date.
After helping to officially open the U.S. Center this morning with the Department of State's Deputy Special Envoy for Climate Change and Head of the US Delegation, Jonathan Pershing, and United States Ambassador to Denmark Laurie Fulton, NOAA's Sandy MacDonald gives a presentation on 'The Science and History of Monitoring Carbon Dioxide and other Greenhouse Gases.'
